Shade and Size Variations

Due to the nature of tile manufacturing, shade and size variations may occur between batches. We always endeavour to supply your order from a single batch to maintain consistency. Where possible, we recommend viewing the current batch prior to purchase.

For follow-up orders — such as when additional quantities are needed — we will make every effort to match the previous batch. However, this cannot be guaranteed, and we advise allowing for at least 10% extra when calculating your order to account for wastage and potential variation.

Please inspect all tiles carefully before installation, including dry laying where appropriate. Once tiles are fixed, they are considered accepted in their current condition and are non-returnable. If you are unsure about any shade or size differences, please speak with a member of our team before proceeding.

Returns Policy

We offer a full refund for full, unopened boxes of tiles returned within 14 days of the purchase date.

Between 14 and 28 days, returns may be accepted at our discretion, and a credit note may be issued, provided the returned tiles match the current batch in stock. A valid receipt or original invoice is required for all returns.

Special Orders

While most of our products are available from stock, some items are classified as Special Orders — these are custom-made or specifically ordered for you.

For Special Orders, we kindly ask that you double-check your measurements and requirements, as these items cannot be returned. We are not responsible for incorrect measurements or over-ordering.

Upon receipt of your Special Order, please inspect the goods immediately. Any damages or shortages must be reported within 24 hours of collection or delivery. We cannot accept responsibility for issues reported after this time frame.

 

Delivery

Delivery times are given in good faith, but delays may occur and are beyond our control. We are not liable for any losses resulting from late or incorrect deliveries.

You are responsible for making all necessary arrangements to receive your delivery. If delivery cannot be completed due to your actions or inaction, additional charges may apply.

We strongly advise against booking tilers or other tradespeople until you have received and checked all products. BC Ceramics will not be held responsible for financial losses caused by delays or delivery issues.

Retention of Title

All goods supplied by us will remain the property of BC Ceramics until payment for them has been made in full.
