1. About us

These terms and conditions govern your use of the BC Ceramics website at https://www.bcceramics.co.uk and any purchases you make from us. By placing an order you agree to be bound by these terms.

BC Ceramics is a trading name of BC Ceramics Ltd, registered in England and Wales. Our registered office address is available on request via our contact page.

2. Placing an order

• All orders are subject to availability and confirmation of the order price.
• When you place an order, you will receive an email acknowledging receipt. This does not mean your order has been accepted. We will confirm acceptance by sending a dispatch confirmation email.
• We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for any reason, including limitations on quantities, inaccuracies in product or pricing information, or problems identified by our fraud prevention systems.
• Prices are shown in GBP and include VAT at the current rate for retail customers. Trade customers see prices excluding VAT.

3. Products & pricing

• Tile products are sold per square metre but shipped in whole boxes. You will be charged for the number of whole boxes required to cover your area, rounded up.
• We make every effort to display colours and finishes accurately, but due to the nature of natural materials and screen variations, actual products may vary slightly from the images shown. We recommend ordering a free sample before committing to a full order.
• Prices may change at any time, but changes will not affect orders that have already been confirmed.
• In the unlikely event of a pricing error, we will contact you before processing the order to confirm whether you wish to proceed at the correct price.

4. Payment

Payment is taken at the time of order via Stripe. We accept major credit and debit cards. All transactions are processed securely — we never store your full card details on our servers.

5. Delivery

Full delivery information, including costs, timescales and regional surcharges, is available on our Delivery & Returns page. Key points:

• Free delivery on orders over £299 (mainland UK).
• Standard delivery is £29.99 for orders under £299.
• Surcharges apply to Scottish Highlands, Northern Ireland, Channel Islands and other remote areas.
• Delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed. We will keep you informed of any delays.
• Please inspect your delivery on arrival. Any damage must be reported within 48 hours.

6. Returns & refunds

• You may return unused, undamaged products in their original packaging within 30 days of delivery for a refund. Products must be in resalable condition.
• Made-to-order and cut-to-size products cannot be returned unless faulty.
• Free samples do not need to be returned.
• If your order arrives damaged or faulty, please contact us within 48 hours with photographs. We will arrange a free replacement or full refund.
• Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the product is faulty or incorrect.
• Refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 14 days of receiving the returned goods.

7. Free samples

We offer free tile samples so you can see and feel the product before ordering. Samples are sent free of charge with no obligation to purchase. We reserve the right to limit the number of samples per customer.

8. Trade accounts

Trade pricing is available to verified trade customers. Trade prices are shown excluding VAT. We reserve the right to verify trade status and withdraw trade pricing at our discretion.

9. Limitation of liability

• Our liability for any claim arising from or in connection with these terms shall not exceed the price paid for the relevant product.
• We are not liable for any indirect, consequential or special losses, including loss of profit, arising from the use of our products.
• We are not responsible for installation costs, labour, or any costs arising from delays, product variations, or issues beyond our reasonable control.
• Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

10. Intellectual property

All content on this website, including text, images, logos and design, is the property of BC Ceramics or its licensors and is protected by copyright. You may not reproduce, distribute or use any content without our written permission.

11. Privacy

Your personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page. Continued use of the website after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
