Now we come into the world of floor tiles. No longer limited to the kitchen, but now used for lounges, dinning areas and hallways as well. Most other countries have been using them like this for years.
In fact what could be better than if you have children with muddy feet, or animals with wet paws, just a wipe with a cloth and the appearance is good as new.
Also many people thought, quite wrongly, that floor tiles would make their home cold - this is far from the truth.
However if you still have some concerns, you can even have underground heating easily installed before you have your floor laid, so walking in bare feet can be quite pleasant.
